A one-of-a-kind project, it harbours 13 re-mastered Ming and Qing Dynasty villas that were carefully moved brick-by-brick from Fuzhou, together with contemporary Ming Courtyard Suites and 30 ownable properties and has become one of China’s most sought after luxury hotel destinations.

TASK:
Identica wove a compelling brand narrative to express Amanyangyun’s DNA. To articulate the brand’s essence, we executed a holistic approach that included corporate and marketing materials, social media marketing, and sub-brands for restaurants. This multifaceted strategy helped Amanyangyun become one of the most successful hotels in the Aman Hotel Group collection.

RESULT:
Amanyangyun Shanghai won several prestigious 2019 AHEAD Asia awards, including the coveted Hotel of the Year award, the Visual Identity award, the Guestrooms award, and the Hotel Conversion award. It has also recorded one of the highest occupancy rates for any newly launched Aman Hotel and has earned a reputation as the best Aman hotel in China.
